I'm no vegan or vegetarian or anything, but this seems to line up way better with vegan ideals, to reduce animal suffering. The girlfriend only seems to care to reduce suffering for herbivorous animals and ignoring all other animal life. I have respect for the conviction and compassion vegans posses, but this lady makes me so pissed off. And advocating for the extinction of all domestic cats? Disgusting heartless hypocrite.Was a vegan. Am a vegetarian. This is my justification for having cats. We rescued two siblings, and spoil the crap out of them. Yes, animals are killed to feed our cats. But, cats are killed every day too...so... They live a life of luxury, never knowing any hardship, and get hours of cuddles a day. I have no doubts I am doing the right thing.

I’ve left out a lot, like he went to jail briefly when i was 9 and my mom started dating another man. He threatened to kill us all and shot out all of the windows in the home he was living in. Didn’t see him for some time after that. Basically, he has a lot of issues and I stay aware of them but have tried to navigate a relationship up until recently but I’ve been letting go of that. There's no excuse for not looking, but sometimes jaywalking can be a deliberate choice that involves more than just distance. There's two crosswalks I jaywalk at because they're unsafe. One is by my bank, and the "walk" signal coincides with a green right turn arrow(people always reply to me when I share this story saying that's impossible, but I assure you, it is a thing). Cars do not look, because they have a green and assume you're walking against the signal(see: "that's impossible!"). This is an unsafe crossing, and after nearly getting creamed by a psychotic old lady I started crossing in the crosswalk but against the light(waiting until it's clear and making a run for it) when it was actually safe to do so rather than whenever the crosswalk decided it was time to sacrifice a pedestrian. My AC broke at the beginning of the pandemic, but I didn’t really care because I wasn’t working, wasn’t going anywhere. Didn’t need it. Now it’s the end of June in Georgia and I’m starting to mind a little bit lol I do enjoy taking the long way home so I can keep my windows down, though.
