When he moved I would only see him once every 2 years until I was 18. His mom died in a car accident when I was a few months old, and at 18 I was in a serious accident. After that he started to visit regularly and then moved back to Ontario a few years ago.When he moved back i had high hopes for a good, adult relationship (I’m 26 now). But it’s just been a lot of myself putting in effort and not getting anything in return from him. I’d see him every 5-6 months or so since he moved back.
