My friend has a cat (she’s realized the harm she was doing it now and it is perfectly fine) but she is a vegan and a couple months ago (when this took place) she was a little out of her mind. She started feeding her cat Veges and no cat food or meat. After a little bit her cat got sick and she visited the vets. They had discovered what happened and warned her but she carried on doing it and idk now but they figured out AGAIN and fined her of about £900. And then she went on google to look at how bad veges were for carnivorous animals like cats and she realized how much harm she was doing, the cat is okay now but we had to put a little sense into her.

I’ve left out a lot, like he went to jail briefly when i was 9 and my mom started dating another man. He threatened to kill us all and shot out all of the windows in the home he was living in. Didn’t see him for some time after that. Basically, he has a lot of issues and I stay aware of them but have tried to navigate a relationship up until recently but I’ve been letting go of that. There's no excuse for not looking, but sometimes jaywalking can be a deliberate choice that involves more than just distance. There's two crosswalks I jaywalk at because they're unsafe. One is by my bank, and the "walk" signal coincides with a green right turn arrow(people always reply to me when I share this story saying that's impossible, but I assure you, it is a thing). Cars do not look, because they have a green and assume you're walking against the signal(see: "that's impossible!"). This is an unsafe crossing, and after nearly getting creamed by a psychotic old lady I started crossing in the crosswalk but against the light(waiting until it's clear and making a run for it) when it was actually safe to do so rather than whenever the crosswalk decided it was time to sacrifice a pedestrian. My AC broke at the beginning of the pandemic, but I didn’t really care because I wasn’t working, wasn’t going anywhere. Didn’t need it. Now it’s the end of June in Georgia and I’m starting to mind a little bit lol I do enjoy taking the long way home so I can keep my windows down, though.
